The Coon Fork 40 is a beach-to-beach, woodsy gravel ride adventure based out of Coon Fork Lake County Park just outside Augusta, WI. Produced by CORBA (Community for Outdoor Recreation, Biking, & Adventure, the 2024 edition saw just shy of 500 riders register from ten states. This video mostly recaps the 2024 edition but has a few shots from 2023 as well. With three routes ranging from 30 to 88 miles, a great Halfway Hang, and one heck of a beach-side after party, the event’s popularity is growing fast. Aerial footage by Up Up & Around.

The Sadistic Century is a fun and challenging road bicycle ride on hilly, smooth, quiet roads in Western Wisconsin. Routes include 200 km, 100 mile, 100 km and 60 km lengths with three distinct rest stops mainly in Dunn County, Wisconsin (a short drive from Madison or Twin Cities Area). The new 200 km route is an additional loop to the Southwest. We serve a great meal with refreshments after the ride.

Centered around Altoona’s River Prairie Center, The First Taste Culinary Crawl is the exclusive kickoff event for Chippewa Valley Restaurant Week. Taste a full meal's worth of both savory and sweet samples from local restaurants, enjoy a cash bar of featured beers and wines. Dine on the gorgeous outdoor plaza.

The University of Wisconsin-Stout's annual fashion show, Fashion Without Fabric, returned for another stunning presentation of student works on Saturday, April 15. The sold-out event allows 3D Design course students to show off their skills – according to each year's theme. This year's theme was "Inventions & Innovations".

The Chippewa Valley's first-ever Santa Cycle Rampage invaded the streets of Eau Claire on Sunday, Dec. 4, as more than 100 costumed cyclists merrily pedaled their way along a five-mile route that included Barstow, State, and Water streets.
